I have a Bachelors in K-12 Music Education from UW-River Falls.
I have worked at East Central since 2020! I have loved working with all of the different age ranges and inspiring their love for music.
Growing up in Pine City MN I always had a love for music. My parents started taking me to local restaurants to sing karaoke at the age of 7. I started piano lessons when I was in 3rd grade and taught myself how to play guitar in 10th grade. In 5th grade I played clarinet in band and by 9th grade I started playing bass clarinet. During college I started teaching myself how to play ukulele and banjo.
I knew I wanted to be a music teacher since I was in 7th grade. I knew that I loved music and loved working with children so a music teacher was the obvious answer! I am so glad to work in this small community that is so close to my hometown. East Central has truly became a family to me.
In my free time I enjoy sitting around fires and playing guitar with my family, baking, and outdoor activities. My husband and I are apart of the Pine City Horseshoe league and the Wings North Cornhole league.
