Welcome to East Central Schools
I am honored to be able to serve the East Central School Community as superintendent. I have worked in the East Central school system in a variety of capacities over the past twenty-six years and I have lived in the school district for over twenty years.
In my spare time I enjoy watching my sons participate in sports. Reace is a 10th grader who has a passion for basketball and Shaw is in the 8th grade with a desire to play college baseball. I get to as many school activities as I can. I know it is important for our students to have a strong fan base and I love watching them develop their skills, be it on the court, field or stage.
My husband is a graduate of East Central, Class of 1989. I take a great amount of pride in our school system. I believe that every student has the right to feel connected, safe, and successful at school. I didn't graduate from East Central but I do consider it to be home.
Our schools offer great opportunities for students to become involved through athletics, arts, and academics. We also offer a great assortment of community education programs that meet the needs and interests of our community. I would encourage all of our community members to find a way to become involved and participate in our school community. It really is a great place to be.
