Youth Basketball League Training Camp

This course is an opportunity for both boys and girls entering grades 3-6 to work on their basketball skills and learn (or continue to learn) the game in a fun, low-stress environment.
There will be a review of basic basketball fundamentals and skills at each session followed by 3 on 3 games. The teams will be made each evening based on participants in attendance. The games will have a referee to assist with the flow of the game, calling fouls, and encouraging good sportsmanship, however, the players will not be coached.
The intent is to encourage the kids to play hard while starting to figure out and learn the game on their own. 3 on 3 is an excellent format to ensure that all players on the team are active participants and by changing the teams week to week, participants will be able to spend time and form bonds with different teammates.

Coaches: Genny Swenson, Peter Rogotzke, Jesse Swenson and Mitch Clausen Players need to bring their reversible jerseys.

Cost: $15.00

Sundays from 12-1:30 on the following dates:

STRETCH AND STRENGTH

Session 2 (Oct. 28 - Dec. 9) NOW ON MONDAYS!!

Our bodies were made to move, but we can get a little stuck from too much sitting, repetitive activities, limited range of motion, and "text neck" smartphone use.

In this class, we use gentle stretching and body-weight strength building to reconnect with natural movement that helps us get unstuck.

We'll also play with balance, core work, and flexibility, and modifications are offered so you can find the level you're comfortable with, and progress when you're ready. Plus, we laugh and chat a lot. Bring a fitness/yoga mat if you have one, but the teacher brings extras if you don't. Come and play!

TIME : 5:30-6:30
