Martha Lehman

Early Childhood Special Education Teacher

Hello, my name is Martha Lehman, this is my first year teaching at East Central. I am happily married to my husband Jeff, we have two young kids, Elliott and Scarlett, we also have two dogs Gunner and Roscoe. I am originally from Washington state and moved to Idaho when I was inn 3rd grade. My husband was born and raised in Cloverdale, and he somehow convinced me to move to Minnesota almost ten years ago. I started my college career at College of Southern Idaho and received my associates degree in political science.  After I moved to Minnesota, I went back to college to pursue a career in education. I attended Anoka Ramsey Community College for my generals before I transferred to University of Wisconsin- Superior where I completed my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education in December 2020. I completed my student teaching experience at East Central and worked as a substitute teacher for the remainder of the school year. I am so excited to start this new journey as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher. If you have any questions about your little ones, feel free to give me a call or stop in to visit with me.
