My name is Jeana Balut and I've been in the field of education for about 15 years. During that time, I have worked as an Instructional Literacy Coach, an Interventionist, and taught second grade and fifth grade. I received my Bachelors Degree from the University of Minnesota, Duluth and my Graduate Teaching License from the College of St. Scholastica.
Teaching is an absolute passion of mine and I love teaching 2nd grade! Being part of the East Central family is especially dear to me because it is the school I attended and graduated from when I was younger.
I live on beautiful Grindstone Lake with my husband Lance and our adorable mini goldendoodle Max. We have two amazing daughters, Hannah and Grace. When I am not teaching, I love watching basketball, cooking, reading and spending time outdoors on the water with friends and family.
