East Central Youth Softball

East Central Youth Softball is being rejuvenated! After a couple of years without a girls’ youth softball program, we have decided to bring back softball to our 2nd-6th graders!

Youth softball will focus this year on the FUNdamentals of softball. Learning to throw, bat, run the bases, and work as a team. We are anticipating having two practices per week as available.

We hope to begin practice in late April (weather permitting) and we will communicate directly with parents how that will look as the time gets closer. Spring schedules are very tight with limited fields and possible weather. We will be working with other area schools to organize some games throughout the season. DATES TO BE ANNOUNCED!

The East Central Youth Softball program will team up with the Youth Baseball program in a fundraising effort in hopes to purchase much-needed equipment that will benefit both programs. We will be selling Kettle River Pizzas at the end of April and early May.

Fees- $60 per player (for first family member) which includes a jersey and a hat. $50 for each additional player from the same family. Players will be expected to wear cleats, pants, and provide their own glove.
