I am happy to be back for another exciting year at East Central Elementary School. Throughout my teaching career I have taught 3rd grade,
6th-8th grade Title 1, 2nd grade, and I am currently teaching 1st grade. I love teaching first graders.
I graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in 1992 with a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Elementary Education. In 2003, I received my Master’s Degree in Curriculum Instruction from the University of Minnesota. I love to learn new teaching strategies that I can implement in my classroom.
I live in Askov with my husband Gerry. We have two adult children, two wonderful daughter-in-laws, and four beautiful grandchildren. I enjoy baking, hunting, gardening , being outdoors, and spending time with my family.
