Mallory Hartl has reached a milestone for goalies in hockey. She has made her 2,000th save. Hartl is the starting goalie for the girls hockey team. East Central is a member of the hockey co-op with Moose Lake, the team Hartl plays on.
Hartl made her 2,000th save in the playoff game on Tuesday, February 7th, against Hibbing-Chisholm. Hartl's older sister, Gracie, scored a goal to help the Rebels get the win 4-0 over their opponents.
Up next for the Rebels, is the Hilltoppers from Duluth Marshall. This game will be played on Saturday, February 11th, in Cloquet. The winner of this game will go to the Section Championship game.
