October 25th Update - Learning Model

Dear Families,

We are currently in a situation where we have several staff members that need to quarantine and we are in the midst of a substitute shortage. Due to these circumstances and the desire to make sure that our students, staff, and community members stay well, the East Central Administrative Team has made the decision to transition to distance learning for the next two weeks.

We are canceling school on Monday, October 26th and Tuesday, October 27th. These days will be used by staff to prepare for the educational shift to distance learning. On Wednesday, October 28th, the East Central School District will transition to distance learning. We will continue in distance learning until approximately November 9th.

There will be no essential employee daycare on Monday and Tuesday; daycare will resume on Wednesday, October 28th.

If you wish to have meals delivered the week of November 2nd, please notify the high school (320-245-6016) or elementary office (320-245-6010) no later than 12:00 PM on Thursday, October 29th.

Please continue to watch Facebook and email for more information. Elementary parents, the information will be out shortly with information about how to pick up technology and materials for your students during distance learning.

Sincerely,

The East Central Administrative Team
